At Scottsdale Silverado we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to develop and celebrate their passion for the game of golf.  For this reason we developed The Silver Pony Junior Challenge Course.  The Challenge Course is a 9-hole executive style course that caters specifically to kids and those new to the game of golf. 

The Challenge Course has been setup on our front 9 using a 4th set of tee-boxes (purple).  The tee-boxes range from 80 to 200 yards in length and providing a great course for beginners of all ages.  The challenge course allows your kids to play the entire hole and keep a real score.  This helps improve confidence and keep there interest in the game. Not only have we created a course that caters to kids and those new to the game, we have made the price even better.  For kids ages

2 to 16 it is free to play the course.  For the accompanying adult(s) the cost is $10.  This price structure provides an easy way for families to come out an enjoy an affordable round of golf.  The exact details are below:

• Free for kids ages 2 to 16 

• $10 for those 17 and older

* All children must be accompanied by at least one adult during the round.
* Accompanying Adults must play from the challenge course tees when paying the "the challenge course price"
